Condolences

Joseph, Louisette, Anne, Bernadette, Yves and family send Gilman’s whole family their sincere condolences. His death was a great relief for him but the void he leaves is enormous. We, Joseph and I, have always appreciated your generous family. Gilman was close to Natalie, he taught her woodwork. We remember Gilman’s visit to Patton’s American cemetery in Luxembourg and the Henri Chapelle cemetery in Belgium. His emotion revealed the soul of an American hero of the Corean war. We thank him for his great courage in war as well as in his long generous and active life. We pray God for his blessed rest in peace, close to his beloved spouse Sandra.

I am so sorry to learn of Gilman's death. He and my late father, Robert McClure, were schoolmates. Dad spoke highly of him. You are all in my thoughts.

Thanks Judy for sharing a part of your family’s story. I can’t believe your dad farmed until he was 79. What a great example he’s set for others to follow his work ethic. I’m sure your family will miss him but now he’s back with your mom. God bless your family. Tom and Tracy

Gilman was such a joy to be around and he always knew my voice when I approached him at Cattlemans, And also he loved his special drink. Always called it the Gilman drink and everyone at the bar knew what he had. He will dearly be missed. Thoughts and Prayers for the Entire family. God Bless

Hi Marc, Thank you for sharing your grandfather’s obituary with me. I’m so sorry for your loss. Even though I never had the chance to meet him, I can tell he was a great man just by knowing you. From what I read, he lived an incredible life—full of dedication to his family, his community, and his work. Please know you and your family are in my thoughts during this time.
