So many memories of Roger. Picnics at Clear lake. You supervised me working on painting my 1962 Chevy Nova. Pheasant hunting around Britt. Jumping the biggest buck we both ever saw! Thanks for the laughs and experience cousin!!

I used to ride with Roger & his brother Rick in a convertible through Shakopee MN. My brother and Lonnie thought we were so cool!! I remember their apt up the stairs above a hardware store, maybe.. And they had a shop where they worked on cars down by the river. Roger was my first cousin but 13 years older than me. One time he'd purchased furniture from a store in Minneapolis. It turned out to be the junkiest stuff! He tried to return it. My dad Franklin was there, his brother-in-law Don Brigley and us kids. The manager told Roger he couldn't return the furniture. I'm sure my dad had something to say to the guy as well. With the manager protesting,,saying "you cannot do this!" we proceeded to unload every piece of furniture! All of it! Table & chairs, couch, dressers, bed, mattress & frame. It was a good lesson for the furniture place and us kids saw some action! Years passed and I didn't see Roger very often but I remember he was always smiling. I cannot come to the funeral but I wanted to say Rest In Peace cousin! Give my dad a hug from me! Blessings and love to Roger's family.

So sorry to hear of your loss. Roger was a good friend and great father. He helped me out one day when I needed to take my son Chad to the doctor( because of no car). We also put up a hog in his garage in Clear Lake. He will be missed. Remember the good days girls. Love to you all - Amy

As "Santa" rides his sleigh towards the setting sun, I would like his family to know that it was a great honor to meet and know their Dad, Grandpa and Great Grandpa. He was a joy to be around on the Britt fire department and a great body shop owner. Going to miss him.
