To Roger's family. I am saddened to learn of Roger's passing. Many years ago I worked for (with) him at John Deere in the Quality Assurance area. I want to extend my condolences to his family at this difficult time. Cherish your many memories.

Sorry to hear of Roger's passing. We've known Joan and Roger for a long time being neighbors on Ellen st. in Cedar Falls for many years. They were instrumental in organizing the current jacob hook Christmas decorations on Ellen st where each house has 2 hooks and were/are displayed from Thanksgiving to New Year's day. Roger was a great guy to just stop by and chat with. We'll miss him. Dave and Kay Kofoed

Sorry to hear of Roger's passing. Of course his wife Joan is my first cousin but he and I also shared time together in a variety of music groups at Rowan High School and I believe he was the driver for a detasseling crew we had one summer. Always a positive friendly person.

Our sincerest condolences to your entire family on the passing of Papa Rietz. Getting to you know your family has been a real joy for us. He has been such a fighter, showing his strength of character and fortitude. May he find peace. And may he reside always in your hearts and minds.
