Shirley Ann Heisler was born to Clifford and Lois (Irene) Heisler on March 26, 1954, in Chanute, Kansas. She was the eldest of their four children, with younger siblings Max, Beth, and Kenneth.
At the age of 11, she responded to the touch of God on her heart and committed her life to serving the Lord, which became her first love.
On January 31, 1976, Shirley married Jeff Peck in Iola, and resided in Crystal Lake, Iowa. Together, they raised four children on the farm, where Shirley enjoyed tending to a garden, and providing home-grown meals and fresh bread for her family while Jeff farmed. She canned, sewed, taught piano, and kept an orderly home where many felt welcome. Later in life, Shirley found great delight in being a grandmother and great-grandmother. She made many sacrifices because of her love for her family.
Shirley quietly fought for the downtrodden and disadvantaged. Impacted by her own infirmities, she became one that understood the broken-hearted and was always available to console them. She touched and helped the lives of so many through her intuitive work.
Shirley was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Lois (Irene) Heisler; mother-in-law, Gretchen Peck; daughter-in-law, Carla Peck; brother-in-law, Gary LeGrande; and granddaughter, Kohlie Crawford.
Shirley is survived by her husband of 49 years, Jeff Peck, of Crystal Lake, Iowa; children, Travis Peck and wife Sabrina of Chinook, Montana, Angela Crawford and husband Cade of Klamath River, California, Crystal Alicea and husband Chris of Shawnee, Kansas, and Tristan Peck and wife Emma of Shawnee, Kansas; siblings, Max Heisler and wife Beverly, Beth Queen and husband Rick, and Kenneth Heisler and wife Laura; 15 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
