Obituary
Sutton B. Kroeze, 7 months old, of Kanawha, passed away on Thursday, March 27, 2025 at the University of Iowa Health Care Medical Center in Iowa City.
A visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 PM on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at Ewing Funeral Home, 111 Luick’s Lane South in Belmond.
Sutton Brooks was born on August 14, 2024, in Des Moines to Tucker and Brook (Buren) Kroeze. Though his time with us was brief, Sutton’s sweet and precious soul brought immeasurable love and joy to our lives. His delicate features, especially his long, beautiful eyelashes, were a true reflection of just how sweet his soul was.
Though we are heartbroken, we take comfort in knowing that Sutton is resting peacefully with the angels and surrounded by eternal love. Sutton will forever be cherished by those who had the privilege of knowing him. His spirit will forever live on in our hearts and memories.
Sutton is survived by his parents Tucker and Brook Kroeze of Kanawha; grandparents Denise and Jon Buren of Kanawha, Cory and Teresa Mosiman of Belmond, Chad Kroeze and Stacy Taylor of Clarksville; great-grandparents John Buren of Britt, Howard Ross of Charles City, and Michelle Swan of Colorado Springs, Colorado; aunts and uncles Bret (Mallory) Walk of Missoula, Montana, Bryce Buren of Gdynia, Poland, Andrew Kroeze of Belmond, Dakota Mosiman of Belmond, and Corbyn and Miranda Kroeze of Clarksville; and many extended family and friends.
Sutton was lovingly greeted in heaven by his great-grandparents Agnes Lindsey and Norm Wester and Becky and Harold Kroeze; great-great-grandfather Marinus Kroeze; and great-great-uncles and aunt Floyd Kroeze and Burrell and Sheryl Buren.
