Obituary
Dennis Charles Nail, 67 of Denver, Colorado, died peacefully on October 29, 2019.
Dennis was born in Clarion, Iowa on September 24, 1952 to Dick and Barb Nail.
Following graduation from East Greene High School in 1971, he worked in the Ames and Des Moines area. He moved to Omaha where he met and married Susie Nath on February 5, 1983. They made their home in Denver and soon welcomed their only child, Jennifer.
Dennis worked as a successful loan officer for nearly 40 years in the Denver area. He was forced to retire in March of 2019 due to health issues.
During this time in business, he met and touched the lives of many. He led his life the way that suited him best, unpredictable and independent.
He is survived by his daughter, Jennifer (Chase) LaCroix of Durango, Colorado; one special grandson, Louis LaCroix, age 3; his mother Barb Nail of Clarion, Iowa; his brother Steve (Lana) Nail of Ankeny; his sister Sandy (Eric) Gabrielson of Nevada, Iowa; and many nieces and nephews.
Dennis is preceded in death by his dad Dick Nail of Clarion and sister Theresa (Gary) Hauge of Cairo, Missouri.
Dennis' family is hosting a Celebration of Life from 1:00 – 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2019, at The Red Shed, 908 2nd St NW in Clarion. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.
Memorials are preferred to the family.
