So sorry to hear of Mr. Perkins passing. He was a favorite teacher and coach to many in Tripoli. Prayers for all his family.

To Coach Perkins' family, our deepest sympathies. We got to know Coach during our time in Britt. I always enjoyed talking with him and appreciated everything he did for the school and our activities. Rest in peace Coach. Jeff and Gabrielle Recker and family

I played for Coach Perkins in 1970-71 when he was head football coach at Tripoli. Coach started a winning tradition at our school that continued for several years after. More importantly, he helped me grow as a person for which I am grateful to this day. My condolences to Coach’s family and friends.

He was a great man and did great job at pep rally’s for west Hancock high school also he was a really nice man funny and kind he will be missed by many people will missed very much by all may he left a lasting impression on many town Fock of Britt Iowa may he rest in peace and we will keep him close to our hearts and in our memorys

To the family of Coach Perkins: Sorry to hear about the passing of Gene. You have our sincere condolences. He was a good man who was one of the men who inspired me to want to go into education and coaching. He will be missed by the Tripoli Class of 1975.

Gene was a great guy! I enjoyed working with him at the middle school. His positive attitude and sense of humor was an inspiration to the staff and students. His life was a gift to many. Condolences to his family.

Steve your dad ment so much to our family another father figure to my boys and grandkids we were so lucky to have had him in our lives loved him as family!!!
