Obituary
Geraldine Mikelson, 88, of Garner, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at Concord Care Center in Garner.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Clarion.
Visitation will be held 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM on Monday, October 27, 2025 at Ewing Funeral Home in Clarion.

Geraldine (Gerry) Mikelson, 88, of Garner, passed away peacefully on October 22nd, 2025 at Concord Care Center in Garner. Born and raised in Forest City, she later moved to Clarion for work and to raise her three children. She worked at Hagies, First Citizen Banks and Eatons.
She lived a life marked by hard work and the love she had for her family. A devoted mother of three to Lyle, Mike, and Pamela, she poured her heart into raising her children and creating a warm and welcoming home. She had a gift for crafting, sewing, and baking—skills she used not only to express her creativity, but to bring joy to others. Whether it was a scrapbook, a stitched garment, or a fresh batch of buns, everything she made carried her special touch.
She leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and wisdom. Her memory will live on in the lives of those she touched, the traditions she started, and the kindness she shared.
Gerry is survived by her family, siblings and grandpuppies; son Mike Etzen; daughter Pamela (Russ) Dalbeck; four grandchildren, Trent (Alexa) Langenwalter and their two children Ace and Asher, Thaddeus (Aly) Langenwalter and their two children Alexis and Xander, Logan Dalbeck (Jillian Heitland), and Landon (Morgan) Dalbeck; sisters Dolly Skarpness, Carol Mathahs, Rosemary Green, Sandy VanDenHul, and Sharon Sandell; brother Dennis Graff and Rodney Graff; and many others who were fortunate enough to know her.
She is proceeded in death by her husband Roger Mikelson; son Lyle Etzen; sister Elizabeth Dirksen; and brother Ronald Graff.
