Obituary
Grace G. Robinson, 89, of Britt, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 18, 2024, at the Westview Care Center in Britt.
Funeral services for Grace will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 2, 2024 at Ewing Funeral Home, 178 Center Street West in Britt, with Kay Brooks officiating. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery in Britt.
Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Grace G. Robinson, the daughter of Merrels and Pearl (Bergman) Robinson was born on November 2, 1934, at their farm home. Grace grew up on a farm northwest of Britt. She attended country school and later attended Britt Community School graduating with the class of 1952. After graduation, Grace was employed by Buck Law Offices as a legal secretary for 39 years. In later years, she was employed by Siegrist & Jones Law Office in Britt for 9 years.
Grace accepted the Lord as her personal Savior at an early age and was a lifelong member of Bethel Baptist Church in Britt. Grace was a church clerk for many years; she was active in Ladies Missionary Fellowship; and also helped with the AWANA ministry.
Grace enjoyed traveling and loved to attend her Class Reunions. Anyone who knew Grace, knew that she had a special love for cats.
Grace is survived by two nephews, Dan (Julie) Robinson of Grimes and Rick Robinson of Des Moines; great-nieces and nephews Jazmin, Irie, Jennyfer, Jaymes, Jeremyah, and Jaycob; great-great nephews Keaton and Carter; along with many cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Don, and sister-in-law, Chloris Robinson.
