Condolences
I had no idea my friend Mark passed. Our community was not aware. If we can know where he is buried a few of us would like to visit him there. People move and we lose touch

Just catching up on some e-mails this morning and was saddened by the news of Mark's death. We I graduated about the same time as Mark from UDTS, Dubuque and served neighboring churches in the Iowa UMC Conference. He was a delightful friend and a pastor par excellence.

My sincere sympathy and prayers for ALL who are grieving today. I was a Morningside classmate and remember Mark as a fine student and as one always seeking to grow in his faith. May his love for family, friends, and God endure and his faith outshine the sun.

I was surprised to hear of Mark’s death this evening. As seminary classmates we shared our beginnings in ministry. Mark was always down to earth which made him a great pastor. Not being a Methodist Mark always included me. I had the privilege of preaching his installation at Strawberry Point! Sleep well in Jesus, my brother!

Dear family & friends of Pastor Mark, our sincere condolences as we hear of his death. May God surround you with His love and uphold you in His grace. (We served the same churched of Baldwin/Monmouth and Kanawha)

I first met Mark when as a student at Morningside he worked in the admissions office, and had a hand in recruiting me to go there. I have since known him as a fellow pastor for over 40 years. Blessed be his memory. May he rest in peace and rise in glory, and may his loved ones know God's comfort as they mourn his death and give thanks for his life.
