Condolences
Dearest Mark, I so appreciated being able to visit you last summer after many years,-- we worked at camp together.I was lifeguard & dishwasher. You were known as "Uncle Mark" in the snack bar in the bell tower. You patiently & graciously helped camp kids make their selections. Your chuckle and laugh was infectious to all. I knew you were struggling with health issues as we would talk. I pray you are rejoicing seeing your Parents, family, & friends in Heaven. Be sure to check out those antiques there too. See you later, my friend.

He was really fun and loved jokes...we called him "Uncle Mark" and he ran the snack bar. The kids from the camp when buying candy-- never knew what he was going to say to them- yet they got their bar. Mark always drove to the drive-in movie-- we all piled in with alot of food. I called Mark last summer and used his extra cabin- we had great snickers reminiscing. I shall really miss my friend--- he casing Heaven for any Antiques, and checking the Heavens Street Journal for all numbers.

as a long time employee of Lyon County MN I can say that Mark was a fantastic county commissioner. He truly cared about the employees and the citizens of the county, not just a few cronies. He knew the value of a happy employee and reached out on a regular basis to touch base and work to solve any problems, etc. One of the good guys!
