Melvin Rodríguez, de 51 años y residente de Clarion, falleció el miércoles 19 de noviembre de 2025 en el Hospital St. Lukes de Rochester, Minnesota.
DEBIDO AL CLIMA, LA MISA DE ENTIERRO CRISTIANO SE HA POSPUESTO A LAS 10:30 AM DEL SÁBADO 6 DE DICIEMBRE DE 2025 EN LA IGLESIA CATÓLICA DE SAN JUAN EN CLARION.
El velatorio se llevará a cabo de 5:00 p. m. a 9:00 p. m. del viernes 28 de noviembre de 2025 en la Funeraria Ewing, ubicada en 1801 Central Avenue East, Clarion. El rosario y el velorio bíblico comenzarán a las 6:00 p. m. LA VISITA CONTINÚA SEGÚN LO PLANIFICADO EL VIERNES 28 DE NOVIEMBRE DE 2025
Melvin Alexander Rodríguez nació el 24 de junio de 1974 en Honduras, hijo de José Alberto Cruz Ávila y Martha Isabel Cáceres. De joven, su familia se mudó a Guatemala. Obtuvo la ciudadanía guatemalteca. Posteriormente se mudó a Iowa.
Melvin era un hombre dedicado y trabajador. Trabajaba en Michael Foods en Britt, donde era conocido como un compañero de trabajo responsable, confiable y valioso.
Melvin disfrutaba mucho del tiempo en casa con sus queridos perros husky. Sobre todo, amaba a su familia. Tenía un vínculo especial con sus nietos y sentía un inmenso amor por su esposa, Cleotilde. Melvin y Cleotilde compartieron 29 años juntos.
Melvin será recordado por su amabilidad, paciencia y la calidez que transmitía a todos a su alrededor.
A Melvin le sobreviven su esposa Cleotilde Pauc Gomez; sus hijos Sulma Puac, Cinthia Puac, Yefry Rodriguez, Martha Rodriguez, Daniela Rodriguez y Miguel Rodriguez; 17 nietos: Kennedy Lopez, Pamela Puac, Joshua Rodriguez, Britany Albarez, Griezman Rodriguez, Porfirio Albarez, Cristian Albarez, Rose Lopez, Rachel Rodriguez, Marian Rodriguez, Sebastian Rodriguez, Randy Rodriguez, Josue Poac, Natali Albarez, Noah Rodriguez, Joseph Rodriguez y Nasli Albarez; y muchos otros familiares y amigos.
Le precedieron en la muerte sus padres y hermanos.
Melvin Rodriguez, 51, of Clarion, passed away on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at St. Lukes Hospital in Rochester, Minnesota.
DUE TO THE WEATHER, MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL HAS BEEN POSTPONED TO 10:30AM ON SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6, 2025 AT ST. JOHN'S CATHOLIC CHURCH IN CLARION.
Visitation will be held from 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM on Friday, November 28, 2025 at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion. A Rosary and Scriptural Wake service will begin at 6:00 PM. THE VISITATION CONTINUES AS PLANNED ON FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 28, 2025.
Melvin Alexander Rodriguez was born on June 24, 1974, in Honduras, to Jose Alberto Cruz Avila and Martha Isabel Caceres. When Melvin was young, his family moved to Guatemala. He got his Guatemalan citizenship. He later moved to Iowa.
Melvin was dedicated and hardworking man. He was employed at Michael Foods in Britt, where he was known as a responsible, reliable, and valued coworker.
Melvin cherished time at home with his beloved husky dogs. Most importantly, he loved his family. He had a special bond with his grandchildren and he held immense love for his spouse, Cleotilde. Together, Melvin and Cleotilde shared 29 years together.
Melvin will be remembered for his kindness, patience, and the gentle warmth he brought to everyone around him.
Melvin is survived by spouse Cleotilde Pauc Gomez; children Sulma Puac, Cinthia Puac, Yefry Rodriguez, Martha Rodriguez, Daniela Rodriguez, and Miguel Rodriguez; 17 grandchildren Kennedy Lopez, Pamela Puac, Joshua Rodriguez, Britany Albarez, Griezman Rodriguez, Porfirio Albarez, Cristian Albarez, Rose Lopez, Rachel Rodriguez, Marian Rodriguez, Sebastian Rodriguez, Randy Rodriguez, Josue Poac, Natali Albarez, Noah Rodriguez, Joseph Rodriguez, and Nasli Albarez; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
