Condolences
Paula, I just heard about your mother's death this week when I was at Dixie Bun's funeral. What a long life she lived. I remember visiting with you when Wayne Streeter was at TMNH in Buffalo Center several years ago now. We shared nursing experiences and it was so nice to see you again. CL has certainly changed! The community lost a lot when WCL needed to close. You were in the class of "almost" all girls! What memories! I'm sure you remember Mrs. Bruns, science teacher. She is still living in her own home in CL and is now 99. Still drives. The house you grew up in is still there. Your mom, you, and your son all nurses! WOW! Nodia must have been very proud of all of you! I remember your dad too. He has been gone for several years now. A 2 week romance but led to a 56 year marriage. How great is that! What wonderful memories you have. So nice she could be with you in her final years. Yes, it is difficult, even though expected. Letting go, unfortunately is a part of this ride called "Life". May God bless you and your family, wipe away your tears, and give you strength, comfort, and peace. My deepest sympathies to all of you! Tjode Nodland/Mickelson
