Ronald E. Prelip, 71, of Kanawha passed away Saturday, June 26, 2021 at his home.
No services will be held.
Ronald Eugene, son of Carl and Mary (Anderson) Prelip, was born on June 19, 1950. He grew up in the Kanawha area. After high school, Ronald started working at IMT. He worked there for over 40 years before retiring a few years ago.
Ronald enjoyed doing body work or painting cars out in his shop and riding his motorcycle. He loved to fish. In his younger years, he’d take Jason fishing and camping at the Des Moines River on weekends.
Ronald is survived by his son Jason (Shannon) Prelip of Mason City and grandson Conner of Mason City.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Richard.
