Scott Nelsen, 64, of Clarion passed away Thursday, March 7, 2019 at his home in Clarion. A memorial visitation for Scott Nelsen will take place from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM on Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Ewing Funeral Home, 1801 Central Avenue East in Clarion. Please wear your favorite sports attire to honor Scott's wishes! Scott Eugene Nelsen was born August 22, 1954 to John and Beverly (Quintus) Nelsen.  Scott attended and graduated from Clarion High School in 1972. Scott was united in marriage to Peg Stevens, and to this marriage, sons Marty and Greg were born.  The couple later divorced. Scott married Teresa (Stumpf) Eyanson in 2010.  He then had two daughters join his life, Allie and Jen. The couple made their home in Clarion. Scott enjoyed his family and time spent with them.  His love for his grandchildren was never ending.  He loved his Chicago Cubs, Minnesota Vikings, and Iowa Hawkeyes.  His last big adventure was in July 2018, where he got to travel to Wrigley Field to watch his beloved Cubs play. Scott is survived by his wife Teresa of Clarion; children Greg (Sara) of Waterloo, Allie (Jon) of Independence, and Jen (Joe) of Clarion; grandchildren Tristan, J.J., Lincoln, Charlotte, Sawyer, Reagan, and Hunter; parents John and Bev of Eagle Grove; brothers John (Georgiana) and family of Houston, Texas and Rick (Cheryl) and family of Holmes; and many extended family members and dear friends. Scott was preceded in death by his son Marty, his grandparents, and numerous aunts and uncles.
